How do you apply your foundation/concealer/powder?

What is your system?

Mine doesn't seem to give me a good amount of staying power during the day --

I use liquid foundation applied with a sponge then dot on concealer where needed. --- This seems to melt after about 1-2 hours --- help? How do you apply your foundation/concealer/powder?
well...first of all, you need to make sure that your makeup is good quality!! I use Clinique which yes is more expensive but it really makes a difference in how my skin looks and holds up through the day......

Ummm....make sure you apply powder after concealer because it really helps to keep the shine away and gives you a more finished look throughout the day!

If that still doesn't work.....i know that some makeup brands sell longlasting foundation and stuff like that....i've heard that maybelline and Almay have some great products like that

Hope this helps!! :)How do you apply your foundation/concealer/powder?
My daily make up routine :

You will need :

A cleanser

Wipes

Concealer

Foundation

Powder/Blusher brush

Powder/Blusher.

1. First I wash my face with a cleanser.

2. Then clean my face with a facial wipe.

3. Apply moisturizer all over the face except the eyelids and under the eyes.

4. Then get your concealer and dot under the eye and on any red areas or blemishes.

5. Massage in concealer gently using circular motions.

6. Get some foundation and put a drop into the palm of your hand.

7. Apply the foundation on your cheeks, nose, chin and forehead. Make sure you have no orange lines around the hairline or your face. Make sure the color blends into your neck.

8. Smile. Keep Smiling and get your blusher brush and dip it into the powder. Sweep the brush across the apples of your cheeks.

Never apply foundation with a sponge. The sponge absorbs all of the foundation and it wastes it. Also the sponge stores bacteria inside causing pimples.
I use a sponge or foundation brush, my make up stays on all day but maybe its not how you apply it maybe its the foundation that you're using, if you've got oily skin and you're using make up for dry skin then its not going to stay on pretty well. personally i've never really found a good liquid foundation, i prefer the compacts. just try topping up your make up every couple of hours for the moment while you try for a good foundation, get testers first and try them out besides wasting alot of money on make up that you may never use again. most places that sell make up dont charge for testers. good luck!
There's a range of cosmetics that includes foundations and concealers from Revlon called ';color stay';. It works really well. The foundation stays on for up to 10 hours but its easy to remove when you want to remove it.
-start with a primer, like mac.

-apply concealer as needed.

-sponge on your makeup as usual.

-set it with a translucent powder.
