Step 1 - Take 1 tbsp. of Borax. Stir it into approximately a half-liter of lukewarm water (roughly 1 pint). Be sure to measure carefully, Borax is powerful and it can leave a mark of its own if you don't dilute it properly.

Step 2 - Use a sponge and put the Borax solution to the stain.

Step 3 - Try not to get the stain too wet. Let it dry, and keep repeating this process until the stain lifts out. If the stain is still on your carpet, think about calling a professional carpet cleaner to come to your home.

Resolve Professional it comes in a red spray bottle, you can buy it at walmart,home depot. I use it all the time on my light colored rug. It even took out black mascara stains the other day for me.
Turmeric is a common ingredient in curry and other Indian dishes. This deep-orange spice can leave orange or reddish stains on clothes or kitchen linens if spilled. If you launder them as usual, a pink, permanently set stain will result, ruining the fabric. You can remove turmeric stains if you act before washing---the quicker the better. Common cleaning items and things from your pantry work best.

Rub liquid dish detergent into the stain and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the stain with cool water.

Step 2Apply vinegar to the stain, which has now faded to a pale pink or yellowish-orange color. Blot the stain with a clean cloth.

Step 3Rub the cut side of a lemon onto the stain if it is still visible. Set the stain in the sun for 10 minutes to an hour until the stain fades completely or becomes faint.

Step 4Wash the stained item with your favorite laundry detergent according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check to see that the stain is gone before placing it in the dryer.

Step 5Clean it once more with liquid dish detergent if the stain is still visible, and wash it again. Dry as usual once the stain has disappeared.
Mustard and Curry are easily the most difficult stains to remove even for a professional. I would highly recommend not trying anything yourself. It is highly unlikely you will have any luck - it is even more important that you don't mess with it because most consumer spot removers will actually make it more difficult for a professional to remove or it will set the stain.

You need a professional with experience removing these types of stains. I would say most will not have the experience to do so. You need a professional to extract the spot %26amp; treat the stain with either pro's choice ';stain magic'; or ';stain one.';

I would also see if they have a ';dci light'; This will greatly increase the odds of successful stain removal,

If the carpet is new - it may be cheaper and easier to have the stained area cut out and replaced with a new patch of carpet. Most installers can do this and on new carpet it usually will blend right in.
